Our Story

Marylou Rapuano
Musicat started with a dream from our Grandmother and Matriarch, Marylou Rapuano. “Lulu” was an inspirational elementary school teacher throughout her life and later in her life, she “taught teacher's how to teach”-as she would happily say-through her management position at Scott Foresman. More than her love for educating and inspiring youth, LuLu lived life as if music and arts were a central force to well being, and she surrounded her life with its' many forms daily- endlessly playing, listening to, and celebrating music while appreciating all art forms. One day Lulu sketched a small treble clef cat figure on one of her calendars, writing the words “Musicat Muses”. She would animatedly talk endlessly about how she hoped her Musicat could one day help to teach the world about music and help to educate young minds with Musicat. Lulu sadly passed away before she could make her dreams a reality. We -her inspired and music loving Grandchildren- found Lulu's sketch, and are here to carry on Lulu's dreams....

What we do

HOW WE DO IT OUR APPROACH:- We produce clinically supported live action 3d wellness messages, shows, songs and books. We host in person game shows, and variety of shows in an effort to inspire and educate today's youth through music and the arts. We work alongside medical and musical professionals to create age-appropriate and engaging entertainment content. We display these shows and songs through MUSICAT TV- a virtual wellness Musiverse that is home to our Musicat Muses characters and content. We work with a variety of youth in medical centers and hospitals, k-12 schools, and community centers to participate in our productions, many are invited to participate as voice over artists, singers, musicians, storytellers and producers.
